The Custom Designer is a step-by-step process that walks you through a design just like we do in our custom frame shop. Just purchase mats or get materials for a whole framing job. We sell both archival and decorative mats in 32x40 inch sheets. The mats bundles are popular sizes and colors with special discount prices. Mat samples are 2-4 inch pieces of the actual mat board. The mats discount tables show you the price for volume purchases.

Picture frame matting is a colorful material that accentuate your artwork and separate it from the glass or acrylic. Our mats are all made by Crescent Paper Company. The mats we sell are: Decorative Paper Mat Boards (Crescent Berkshire): This mat board is a low cost mat board that is about half the cost of acid free mats. These mats are not acid free mats. They are what furniture framing companies use for production framing. Acid Free Conservation Archival Mat Boards (Crescent Select): This mat board option is an acid free mat board. These mats are safe to use on original fine art. They are safe to come in contact your fine art work. 8 Ply Acid Free (Crescent Conservation Solid): Thesematsare in our mat bundles section. The most common way to purchase mats is through the visualizer. This is a step by step wizard that allows you to custom order mats.The mat bundles are great if you are shopping for some of the most common ready-made sizes. They are package deals in our most common colors and they are priced great. You can also order full sheets of mats (32x40). Samples of mats are available as well. We have made every effort to make the mat board colors look as close as we can to their true colors but they are not perfect because everyone's monitor colors come across a bit different. There are over a million whites in the world so showing you the subtle differences online is impossible.
