Ship A Picture Frames

Hi, my name is Lee. I'm the shipper here at WebPictureFrames.com. I'll be working with frame sizes roughly between 8x10 and 16x20. I want you to measure the width and length of your frame. The purpose of that is because you're going to need to go find a box that's at least one and a half to two inches bigger than the frame all the way around, so that includes top and bottom. You want that frame to be really loose in the box. Go out and find two pieces of flat cardboard that's large enough so that when you cut it down, it's going to fit snugly in the box. What we're going to do is we're going to float ... we're going to sandwich your frame between those pieces of cardboard and float them. Once you've got that together, then bag your frame with a plastic bag. It's really important that you do that. Cardboard will act like sandpaper if it touches it.

Once you've bagged it, might want to tape that bag shut. Try not to get any tape on the surface of the frame because that can also take off the finish. Also, if you're using glass ... we don't ship glass, we ship acrylic. If you're using glass be even more careful. You might need more insulation, you might need a slightly bigger box. Then sandwich the frame between two pieces of cardboard and pinch them together with tape, so that it holds it in place. Get your box and crumple the newspaper, the brown paper. Put it on the bottom of the box. Take the frame and put it on top of that crumpled paper. Then put some more crumpled paper on top of that. If you've got a letter or something, put it in there. Close and seal the box, and that's it.
