This dark reddish-brown picture frame moulding features a genuine open-grain wood veneer on the face of the profile. The shape of the profile is 1” wide and 1 3/8” deep along the outside. The rabbet depth is 1 1/8”, making this picture frame profile an ideal choice for deeper works of art such as stretched acrylic or oil paintings on canvas.
An elegant and sophisticated use of this picture frame would include a fabric frame liner and fillet to create a classy, traditional look for original paintings on canvas and also for limited edition giclee prints on canvas.
