This decorative black wood picture frame features a gold inner lip with black specks, followed by a line of miniature black beads that are washed in a terra cotta color. From there, a flat section of black sets the stage for a floating group of nine dots that repeat throughout this section of the moulding. Finally, a miniature arched pattern touches a final flat strip of black that steps down on the outer edge of the profile. All high points are complemented by an adjacent wash of terra cotta coloring.
The profile width of this picture frame is 1”, and the rabbet depth is ½”. This decorative black wood picture frame is best suited on matted works on paper, photographs, needlework, and canvas boards, due to the limited depth. Stretched canvas paintings might be too deep for this frame.
