Felt Bumpers
These 5/8" felt picture frame bumpers attach to the back corners of a finished frame to help protect the wall where the frame makes contact. Choose a 20-count package for several projects or a 100-count package for studio, gallery, or production use.
Use two lower bumpers when they provide stable contact, or four corner bumpers when the frame and wall arrangement calls for contact at every corner. Bumpers are a finishing component; they do not replace correctly rated hanging hardware.

Install bumpers after fitting and hanging hardware
Complete the artwork fitting, backing, and hanging-hardware installation first. Clean the contact area on the frame back, allow it to dry, then press each bumper onto a flat surface near the corner. Keep the pads aligned so the frame rests evenly against the wall.
What felt bumpers do and do not do
Felt creates a soft contact point that can reduce direct rubbing between the frame and wall. It can also help keep the lower edge from resting directly against the painted surface. Bumpers do not carry the frame weight, correct an unsafe hanger, or guarantee protection on every wall finish.
Complete the back of the frame
Pair bumpers with suitable hangers and fasteners and, when appropriate, picture framing wire. The wood-frame fitting guide shows where bumpers fall in the complete assembly process.
