Choose clear OP3 when sharp detail is the priority, or choose OP3 P99 when you also need a matte non-glare viewing surface. Both provide lightweight, shatter-resistant conservation glazing.
Glazing works best as part of a properly assembled framing package. Keep original artwork from touching the glass or acrylic by using a window mat or picture frame spacers. Confirm that the frame rabbet has enough depth for the glazing, artwork, mats or spacers, and backing board before ordering.
Clean FF3, P99, OP3, and OP3 P99 with a soft microfiber cloth and an acrylic-safe product such as our Acrylic Cleaning and Polishing Kit. Avoid abrasive cloths and household products that are not approved for acrylic.
Optium has a coated surface and different care requirements. Use a clean, soft, lint-free cloth with a compatible glass cleaner. Do not use acrylic cleaner or acrylic polishing compounds on Tru Vue Optium Museum Acrylic.
