Our story began in the 1970s in the arts and crafts industry, where we created and sold a combination of woodworking and stained glass products. As our customers' needs grew and our capabilities expanded, our business evolved into custom picture framing. We embraced custom framing more than 25 years ago, and it has remained our core focus ever since.

My wife, and co-owner, Diane is a professional artist working in oils and pastels. She is keenly aware of the financial challenges artists face and encouraged the creation of our artist's wholesale frame program. Artists can place their art in our quality ready made frames and have a wonderful product that makes a profit.

Retail quality at wholesale prices

At WebPictureFrames.com we use the same picture frames and mats on our website as we do in our retail custom framing business.

Picture framing products are sold at significantly lower prices on the internet versus regular custom framing stores because of greatly reduced business expenses and labor. The picture frames and mats that we sell are at true wholesale prices. We do not have to lower the quality of the products that we produce to sell at these prices.

Materials, suppliers, and brands

Our primary frame suppliers are Larson Juhl, Omega, Studio, Max and Universal. Crescent is the number one supplier of mat board products to the framing industry. Their made in America products are of the highest quality. We proudly state that Crescent Mat Board is the only brand of mat we use.

In the case of Soft Strand wire, we have the option of buying cheaper imports, but we stay with the original, American made, Soft Strand.
