Shadow Box Walls
Create interior depth in a compatible deep picture frame with adhesive-backed foam-core shadow box walls. Black and white walls are available in 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", and 2" depths to hold acrylic glazing away from mounted artwork and dimensional objects.
Use shadow box walls for compatible jersey, memorabilia, award, emblem, badge, retirement, military, and float-mounted-object presentations. The complete object, mounting, backing, walls, and glazing must still fit the usable rabbet depth of the selected frame.

Choose wall depth from the object and glazing clearance
Measure the deepest point of the mounted object and decide how much space should remain between that point and the acrylic. The wall depth creates separation, but the final package also includes the mounting surface, object attachment, backing, and glazing. Dry-fit every layer before applying adhesive.
Compare black and white interiors
White walls can create a lighter, more open interior and coordinate with light backing or mats. Black walls can reduce visible contrast against dark backing and create a more enclosed presentation. Color does not change the physical depth requirement.
Shadow box walls do not create frame depth
These walls fit inside a frame that already has sufficient usable rabbet depth. They do not turn a shallow moulding into a physically deep frame. Use the rabbet-depth guide to compare the full package with the frame specification.
Plan the complete dimensional display
Choose acrylic from the glass and acrylic collection when glazing is required. For project inspiration and frame choices, compare sports jersey frames and memorabilia frames. Mounting and object-securing methods must suit the specific item and should not be inferred from wall depth alone.
