Use the right cleaner for the glazing
Acrylic and glass behave differently. Use products identified for the glazing being cleaned, remove abrasive debris first, and avoid assuming that a general glass cleaner is suitable for acrylic. Compare the glass and acrylic collection when the glazing itself is still being selected.
Distinguish standard and conservation backing paper
Brown dust-cover paper is supplied as a 36" wide, 30-foot roll for creating a dust and insect barrier on a wood frame back. The grey conservation backing paper is also supplied as a 36" wide, 30-foot length and is specifically described as acid-free, lignin-free, and alkaline pH buffered. Choose from the stated properties rather than assuming both papers serve the same conservation requirement.
