Choosing the Hanger Style
Super Steel hangers use two attachment holes and carry the highest listed rating in this group. Choose them for heavier frames that remain within the verified 50 lb rating.
Framing shop note: Fasten screws only into sound wood on the back of the frame. Never put a screw through artwork, glazing, mats, or backing. The complete hanging system is limited by its weakest component, including the frame, wire, wall fastener, and wall construction.
