ACRYLITE P99 has a non-glare surface on one side. The manufacturer specifies that the textured P99 side should face away from the artwork and toward the viewer.

For the clearest possible presentation, keep the acrylic reasonably close to the artwork. Increasing the distance between a textured non-glare surface and the image can make fine details appear softer. Always use appropriate mats or spacers when the artwork itself should not touch the glazing.

UV Filtering and Artwork Protection

ACRYLITE reports that P99 filters approximately 90 percent of ultraviolet light between 200 and 390 nanometers. This provides useful everyday UV filtering, but P99 is not the dedicated conservation-grade product in the ACRYLITE Gallery line.
