Large Spring Clips for Wood Picture Frames
This 20-count package contains large spring clips measuring 3 1/8" x 3/8". The clips apply spring pressure to hold acrylic, mats, artwork, and backing within a wood picture frame. Matching 1/2" screws are included.
Choosing Small or Large Spring Clips
Small clips are 2" x 1/4"; large clips are 3 1/8" x 3/8". Choose the size that reaches the back of the framing package and provides useful spring pressure without extending beyond the frame.
Framing shop note: The screw fastens the clip to the wood of the frame. The spring end presses on the back of the framing package; never place a screw through the artwork, mat, glazing, or backing.
