Manual Point Driver for Fitting Wood Picture Frames
The FGHm515 frame tacker drives flexible or rigid points into the wood rabbet to retain glazing, mats, artwork, and backing. It operates manually with spring-driven action and does not require compressed air.
The tool includes 1000 flexible points. Flexible and rigid 4000-count refill packs are available separately.
Flexible Points or Rigid Points?
Flexible points bend upward when the framing package needs to be removed and then bend back into position. Rigid points are intended for a fitting that is not expected to be opened regularly.
Framing shop note: Drive points only into the wood frame rabbet. Keep the tool clear of glazing edges, artwork, and backing, and use enough points to hold the package evenly without forcing it.
