1" Step Offset Clips for Stretched Canvas
This 20-count package contains 1" offset clips for securing stretched canvas in a wood picture frame. Each package includes 1/2" screws.
Choosing the Correct Offset
This clip has a 1" step. Measure the distance between the rear surface of the canvas stretcher and the back of the wood frame. Choose the step that bridges that difference without forcing the canvas forward or leaving it loose. Use a flat clip when the two surfaces are flush.
Framing shop note: Fasten the clip only to the wood of the frame. The clip retains the wooden canvas stretcher mechanically; never put a screw through the canvas, artwork, or any exposed picture surface.
