This American-made SoftStrand uncoated stranded stainless steel wire is made for hanging picture frames. The high-shine wire is flexible and easy to wrap around suitable frame hardware. This option is supplied as a 10-foot cut length and carries a maximum picture-weight rating of 35 pounds.

Choose Wire by Complete Framed Weight

Select wire using the measured weight of the fully assembled frame, including the moulding, glazing, mats, artwork, backing, and fitting hardware. Do not choose by frame dimensions alone. The complete hanging system is limited by its weakest component, including the frame, D-rings or other wire attachments, wire, wall hook or anchor, and wall structure.

A 10-foot cut length is practical for an individual frame or a small number of projects. For repeated fitting work, compare the bulk rolls in the wire collection.
