The sleeves are made from clear 1.6 mil biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP/OPP). ClearBags identifies the material as archival-safe and designed to resist ripping, tearing, wrinkling, and fogging during normal handling.

Why Choose a Protective Closure?

The adhesive strip is on the body of the sleeve instead of the flap. This placement helps keep the artwork or photograph from contacting the adhesive as it is inserted or removed. A conventional flap-seal bag places the adhesive on the flap, so protective-closure sleeves are the more practical choice when contents may be removed and returned to the package.
