Crescent Select Super White 4-ply Double Mat Bundle Details

Crescent Select Super White is a bright white matboard with a clean white bevel. Its deeply pigmented surface creates a crisp boundary around photographs, graphic prints, certificates, and artwork with clear whites or cool highlights. Our framers recommend comparing it directly with the artwork paper: a bright white mat can make an aged or cream-colored sheet appear warmer.

This bundle contains 24 double mats with 12 x 16-inch outside dimensions and 8 1/2 x 11 1/2-inch window openings. Each double mat uses the same color for both layers and arrives assembled.

Works Visually With

Super White works especially well with black-and-white or color photography, contemporary prints, certificates, and artwork containing clean whites or cool highlights. Its brightness can create intentional contrast with cream paper and warmer frame finishes.

Design and Visual Character

This white-core Crescent Select matboard is alpha-cellulose, acid- and lignin-free, pH buffered, and made with fade- and bleed-resistant color. The white core determines the color visible along the beveled window edge.
