Crescent Select Half & Half 4-ply Double Mat Bundle Details

Crescent Select Half & Half introduces a warm cream border and a clean white bevel. The warmer color can complement portraits, landscapes, traditional prints, and artwork on ivory or naturally aged paper without creating the sharper transition of a bright white mat. Our framers recommend using it when the artwork contains warm highlights, while checking a physical sample when an exact cream tone matters.

This bundle contains 25 double mats with 8 x 10-inch outside dimensions and 4 1/2 x 6 1/2-inch window openings. Each double mat uses the same color for both layers and arrives assembled.

Works Visually With

Half & Half works well with portraits, landscapes, traditional prints, and artwork on ivory or naturally aged paper. Its cream color can repeat warm highlights and soften the transition into wood, gold, bronze, or other warm frame finishes.

Design and Visual Character

This white-core Crescent Select matboard is alpha-cellulose, acid- and lignin-free, pH buffered, and made with fade- and bleed-resistant color. The white core determines the color visible along the beveled window edge.
