Acid-Free Foam Core Details

FCaf is white Gilman acid-free foam core for lightweight, rigid backing and mounting support.

The board is cut to the width and height entered for the order. Its standard thickness provides rigid support and is available in larger dimensions than the thin acid-free version.

Best Uses

Choose this board for photographs, prints, documents, and longer-term display projects that call for acid-free support. It may be used as backing or with an attachment method appropriate for the artwork.

Material and Functional Characteristics

Acid-free paper facings provide support for framing projects. Select attachment materials and artwork-facing layers for the needs of the artwork; acid-free backing alone does not make a mounting method reversible.
